The Tates Creek Baptist Association consists of forty-three churches and two missions nestled in the foothills of Appalachia, predominantly in Madison County, Kentucky.  There are a few churches in Garrard and Estill Counties.  The Tates Creek Baptist Association, organized in 1793, is structured to assist the member churches and missions to carry out the Great Commandment (Matthew 22: 37-39)  and the Great Commission (Acts 1: 8; Matthew 28: 18-20).
